Founded by brothers DJ and Dylan Hampton at a young age, the Hampton Brothers Foundation Scholarship was created on the belief that “I don’t have to be where I’m going to help someone along the way.” While still on their own path to achieving their dreams, DJ and Dylan are committed to making an impact today by encouraging and supporting others who are striving to do the same. This scholarship is their way of giving back—even as they continue to move forward.

This annual scholarship is awarded to a young male who demonstrates effort, determination, and heart; exceptional academic effort and a strong commitment to personal growth. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to a male student graduating 8th grade and continuing his education at a private or independent school. This scholarship seeks candidates who embody perseverance, leadership, and a passion for learning, striving to uplift themselves and their communities.

It is not based on being the highest-performing student academically or athletically. Instead, it honors someone who keeps going despite the odds, someone who shows up every day with the drive to improve and overcome challenges. No application is necessary. The recipient is selected from school faculty’s suggestion based on the values outlined: effort, character, determination, and financial need. Financial need is a key requirement, as DJ and Dylan understand firsthand the barriers that limited resources can create— and the power of support to help break through them.

This scholarship is about recognizing the strength it takes to keep moving, to dream big, and to help others along the way. It’s a reminder that greatness isn’t always measured by trophies or test scores—but by resilience, grit, and a giving spirit.

With an annual award of $1000, this scholarship aims to empower aspiring male scholars to achieve their educational goals while fostering a spirit of resilience and community impact.
